Q: How can I check the validity and performance of your contractor's license?
A: Go to www.cslb.ca.gov and enter the pertinent information to confirm our license. Our California license number is #575037.
While there, you can also verify that we have workers compensation and liability insurance -- protection every homeowner
or project manager wants and needs during an installation project.
Q: Do you have a showroom?
A: No. Although, we can bring you samples of tiles and man-made stone or you may stop by our shop to see man-made samples. We can also order all materials plus natural stones at wholesale prices.
Q: What was your most challenging installation project?
A: It was the Phoenix Hyatt Hotel sports bar's counter top which was 120-feet long with 16-feet radius and a half circle with 3-inch bull nose front edge and 4-inch channel in the back. Interior Improvement Industries finished the project in two weeks from start to finish.
Q: Do you offer any guarantees?
A: Yes, but it depends on the type of stone and installation technique. Please inquire during your free estimate.
Q: What's the advantage of hiring your company over a "big box" home improvement chain?
A: Good question. "Big box" chains hire subcontractors who hire subcontractors and your mileage may vary on quality and expertise. Frequently, the person who comes to measure for the job will just hand it off to an assembly line of subcontractors who won't be subject to the possible
intricacies involved. At Interior Improvement Industries, we work closely in a team effort to cover any contingencies that may occur. There is no red tape or hierarchy to solving problems should any arise. Custom satisfaction is our paramount goal. We also can purchase your tiles and stones at competitive, wholesale prices.
Q: Do you install Corian counter tops?
A: No.
Q: What is fabrication?
A: Fabrication exercises our custom talents when we cut, grind, shape, polish, and install granite, marble, travertine, and limestone slabs.
Q: What is CaesarStone®?
A: Fairly new to the industry but fast becoming a top material choice for builders and architects, it is a precision engineered quartz-based surface that is strong, hard, and flexible offering a variety of colors new to the marketplace. Similar stones such as Silkstone® and Sile stone are scratch, stain, and heat resistant - excellent choices for counter tops.
Q: Do you take credit cards?
A: No. We request a deposit and set up scheduled payments.
Q: What are your hours?
A: We are available 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
